Calculation
The shared Pallet Core evaluates unrotated and, when allowed, 90° rotated base orientations. It selects the greatest TI, breaking a tie to unrotated. HI comes from usable height divided by carton height.
Cartons per pallet = TI × HIReview geometric fit and selected orientation without stacking or structural safety claims.
METHODOLOGY
This is a geometric fit estimate for rectangular upright cartons on a rectangular pallet deck with a usable stack height.
The shared Pallet Core evaluates unrotated and, when allowed, 90° rotated base orientations. It selects the greatest TI, breaking a tie to unrotated. HI comes from usable height divided by carton height.
Cartons per pallet = TI × HI| Inputs | 400 × 300 × 200 mm carton; 1200 × 1000 mm pallet; 1000 mm usable height; rotation allowed; quantity 10 |
|---|---|
| Orientation | Unrotated selected (TI 9 vs rotated TI 8) |
| HI / capacity | 5 layers / 45 cartons per pallet |
| Pallets required | 1 |
LIVE PALLET visualizes the deterministic selected geometric orientation and capacity already returned by the Pallet Core. It adds no optimization formula.
The estimate does not evaluate load-bearing strength, crush resistance, weight distribution, structural stability, safe stacking, interlocking, nesting, mixed orientations, overhang or transport regulations.
